Confused by your answer John. This was actually a question of mine as well.

Picked up the strings you mentioned, but, wondering if I missed a few. In part 1 Margaret said that Ryan had been calling her, etc. And Gabriel says in "One verison, I told you everything"...And this is why Margaret in Part 1 knew more than the usual "Sevens"?

If she is a typical seven, how can she transcend these alternate "strands" of realities. For instance, Ryan called her in another reality and told her of this, but now she knows it in part 1? Because Ryan in Part 1 wasn't calling Margaret in Part 1 throughout? Otherwise Ryan would remember it.

So, I took away that Ryan, from another reality, called Margaret, from another reality, and told her. And yet, Margaret's consciousness doesn't transcend all realities - not until the end anyway. So, still confused how she'd be aware in Part 1. Hope this makes sense.

I wish the Q&A had been longer. They were kind of kicking us out the door.

On subsequent viewing(s), you'll put together that Gabriel (part 3) says, "In one version, I told you everything." That matches with Margaret (part 1) saying, "One day you called me out of the blue, and we've been talking ever since." So, Margaret (alone of the non-Nines) kind of knows what's going on.

At the conclusion, Noelle and M know something about what's happened. Exactly how much is open to interpretation.

Just saw the 7:30 at Nuart and really appreciated the film. I'll get started with the first question on my mind after seeing the movie. So why do the Sevens (Melissa and Elle) in the film know what is going on with Ryan's three incarnations? Why would they know their lot as sevens? He created the avatar of himself that created "Knowing". But why does the Melissa's seven know in the first story?

Thanks John. I wished we could have heard you talk more about the film. It was great to see you in person. It's always great when you can keep talking about a film after seeing it for the entire ride home, and then some.
