new review - "The Nines is a must-see experience"

Before The Nines, one of the last movies I saw in theaters was Live Free or Die Hard. Believe me, there cannot be two more vastly different movie experiences.
While for purely visceral entertainment, nothing can beat John McClane's latest action-adventure, this new John August vehicle may be the most cerebral film released in theaters this year. But if audiences have their thinking caps on, The Nines is definitely worth the price of admission.

hmm, i'm not too familiar with the references to stephen king or voltaire and i absolutely LOVED the movie...I disagree with the review there...i dont think you need to be familiar with those references in order to truly enjoy the movie. But people vary. I saw it at sundance with 10 other classmates and was just blown away. A definite must-see!!
