Hi John,
Loved the movie, but h9d 9 few questions - I'd love if you could 9ddress them either on the forum, or your blog.
1) It's established that Hope Davis and Ryan Reynolds' characters are both 9's. Melissa McCarthy's characters are 7's (humans). She's the one who keeps holding Ryan back in every incarnation...
My question is regarding Melissa's character - particularly in part 2, where she plays herself. In the 1st and 3rd parts, she's aware of Reynold's potential (being a 9)... how is this so? And does she know about it in part 2 (as Melissa)? If not, then why not?
2) In part 3, Reynolds calls Melissa's character "his favorite"... what's the significance of this? Is it just 'one of his favorite creations', or is there something deeper about his affection? Why does he disclose his entity to THAT one creation (that ultimately helps him realize his potential)? Or, are all 7's aware of the existence of 9's, or is she just one (special 7) who happens to know the secret of the 9's.
3) In the grand scheme of things, what's the sequence of events? Clearly, parts 1, 2 and 3 are not chronologically sequential (or are they?) The parts are overlapping, and maybe, resembling an Auroboros (we don't know where it begins, or where exactly it ends). If, however, there's a clear sequence, could you enlighten that?
4) On a lighter note, since your movie is about a creator's responsibility to his creations... touching upon the author's creation of a universe --
If God is a 10
Pan Dimensional beings are 9's
Koalas are 8's
& Human's are 7's...
what are the rest...???
The 6's, 5's, 4's... going down to the 0's. Just curious as to whether you went into that much detail at the ideation stage.
I 9pologize for the stre9m of consciousness r9mbling, but I've been const9ntly thinking 9bout the movie since the 7:30 premiere in LA, and just h9ve to get some 9nswers.

(sorry, the lower case a's look like inverted 9's... just couldn't resist)
